EUROPEAN pallet pooler IPP has promoted Demi Crabbe to the role of commercial director.
The move comes just 12 months after IPP, which has its UK and Ireland headquarters in Coventry, promoted Demi to senior commercial development manager.
Demi, who has been with the business for 14 years, will report to regional MD Andy Maddock as part of the role, which is focused on shaping and delivering the UK and Ireland commercial strategy. The position will include leading IPP’s commercial vision and teams along with supporting growth plans and a digital transformation agenda.
“I’m really looking forward to putting my own stamp on the role and helping shape our strategic direction at a higher level,” Demi said. “I’ve developed lots of ideas over the years, and now I’m in a position to implement them and drive meaningful change.
“People development is a big passion of mine. Over the last year I’ve been focused on building a strong, capable commercial team, and I truly believe I now have the right people around me to deliver our growth plans. I want to continue investing in them, helping them grow, and ensuring that our customer first mindset remains front and centre.”
During her time at IPP, Demi has held various roles including head of contracting.
She added, “If you’d told me 14 years ago that I’d one day be commercial director, I’d probably have laughed. But I’ve always been driven, always wanted to keep progressing, and I’ve been extremely fortunate to have leaders who trusted me, challenged me and gave me the space to grow. I’m proud of the journey so far and excited for what’s ahead.”
Andy Maddock, regional MD for IPP UK&I, commented, “Over the last few years Demi has proved herself and excelled in many roles in the IPP organisation. In the newly-created role of senior customer development manager, working as part of the management team, she achieved that again in 2025.
“She has reshaped the commercial department in that time, working with our existing commercial leadership but also by bringing change to that leadership group that has made us better. She has built a strong commercial foundation for us to build on in 2026 and beyond. I am delighted for her and the business as we continue to look for growth and drive change in the coming months and years.”
