SUSTAINABLE packaging consultancy Aura is celebrating after triumphing in the Business Process Award category at the Stationers’ Innovation Excellence Awards 2025.
The organisation was recognised for its e-halo platform, which transforms how brands and retailers manage packaging sustainability.
The annual awards celebrate innovation across communications and content industries. Aura’s e-halo platform was selected for its ability to ‘revolutionise’ packaging sustainability workflow, automating compliance, enabling instant recyclability and carbon assessments, and empowering clients to make data-driven decisions that reduce waste and environmental impact.
Aura’s e-halo was also highly commended in the Product Design category.
Developed in-house by Aura, e-halo provides real-time, item-level transparency across packaging portfolios. It is designed to replace ‘fragmented, reactive’ data collection with a single, centralised digital platform that streamlines sustainability management across thousands of SKUs and suppliers.
“We’re ecstatic to see e-halo recognised,” said Gillian Garside-Wight, director of consulting at Aura. “The platform started as an idea to help retailers get a clearer view of their packaging data, and it has evolved into a long-term sustainable packaging solution for retailers and brands all over the world, tracking everything from recyclability to carbon footprint.
“The Stationers’ Company has always championed innovation that moves industries forward, and that’s exactly what Aura is doing in packaging. This recognition shows how e-halo has become the go-to process partner for developing sustainable packaging.”
The win follows a prestigious accolade at the UK Packaging Awards, where Garside-Wight was named Woman of the Year.
