EUROPEAN pallet pooling specialist, LPR-La Palette Rouge, recently appointed Sean Cushion as its regional manager UK & Ireland.
The role will see Sean lead the senior management team responsible for ongoing development and growth of this division of the business. He has almost three decades of logistics and supply chain management experience in sectors ranging from retail and wholesale distribution to medical devices and automated warehousing.
At Vanderlande, he was on the UK board, overseeing service operations across the UK and Ireland and leading a team of more than 130 employees. His tenure saw record-breaking growth in retrofit modification sales and contract renewals with blue-chip clients such as Asda, Tesco, DPD and Next.
“One of the things that attracted me to working with LPR-La Palette Rouge was its strong focus on sustainability,” Sean said. “Whether that’s working with its customers on collaborative sustainability projects, or its accelerating progression into transport optimisation, I look forward to utilising my own experience and expertise to develop further strategies, as well of course, as working with the team to increase LPR’s foothold and coverage across the north region.
