Baker Labels team at Labelexpo

BAKER Labels committed to over £1 million in new technology investments during Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona last week.

The Brentwood-based label and packaging manufacturer confirmed the addition of a Galaxy Packtech GS 24 Plus 200 SBS pouchmaker for its BakPac division, alongside two new HP Indigo 6K+ digital presses for its labels operation.

MD Steve Baker said, “At Bakers, we’ve always made it a priority to stay at the very forefront of label and packaging technology. Our long-standing partnership with HP has been central to that journey, and the introduction of the two new HP Indigo 6K+ presses strengthens our ability to deliver both speed and quality to our label customers.

“On the flexible packaging side, Galaxy Packtech has been a fantastic partner in the growth of BakPac – their pouch making systems give us the reliability and scale we need to keep up with customer demand. These investments reflect our confidence in the future and our commitment to giving brands and trade partners the innovation, service, and agility they expect from Bakers.”

Gaurav Sharma from Galaxy Packtech added, “BakPac’s continued trust in our technology is a true testament to the reliability, performance, and partnership we stand for. Moments like these remind us that long-term relationships are built on more than machines, they’re built on shared goals, consistent support, and the drive to innovate together.”

Bakers revealed it also used the show to connect with its network of suppliers and partners, including HP, Galaxy Packtech, Nilpeter, Durst, A B Graphic International, Screen, Hybrid Software, and a range of label material suppliers.
