AM Labels will showcase a selection of colour label printers, automation equipment, and the firm’s Feeder Labeller at PPMA Total Show this month.
The firm will display the newest addition to its portfolio – the NeuraLabel Callisto colour label printer. The model can support print widths from one to 12 inches and boasts print speeds of up to 18 inches per second, producing full colour labels with a resolution of up to 1200 x 4800 dpi.
Visitors to the Birmingham event will have the chance to see demonstrations of the NeuraLabel Callisto. AM Labels said the printer can produce labels for a variety of industries, including food and beverage, cosmetics, and retail. Users can print labels on a range of media types including paper, vinyl, and synthetics. When using approved label material, the printer is also suitable for GHS-compliant chemical labelling.
AM Labels will also be highlighting the Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press. The X350 is designed for labels and flexible packaging, while its small footprint makes it suited to production areas where space is limited. Thanks to its 350mm print width, eight litre CMYK ink capacity with two litres per colour channel, and print speeds of up to 29 inches per second, the X350 is described as suitable for high volume production requirements.
To highlight the quality of an Epson ColorWorks digital label printer, AM Labels will also provide demonstrations of the C8000 and C4000 models. The Epson C8000 is said to offer enhanced print quality, enabling the production of high gloss images, and increased flexibility by supporting print widths from one to four inches. For businesses looking for a more compact solution, the Epson C4000 series printers are described as boasting improved colour matching functionality and maximum print speeds of up to four inches per second (100 mm). Both matte and gloss ink versions are available.
The stand will also feature the OKI Pro1050 five-colour digital label printer, which offers the added benefit of printing in white, enabling greater design flexibility as white can be used as a background on transparent and dark label materials, such as metallics.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest automation equipment. Offering a range of applicators and print and apply systems, AM Labels can supply applicators for an assortment of packaging needs.
On display will be the LabelPack Panda print and apply system, which is combined with automation scanning. This is designed to be integrated with thermal transfer print engines. AM Labels will also be demonstrating its Feeder Labeller, which features the LabelPack Label X JR wipe-on applicator. The combined system can automate the feeding of packets, pouches, cartons, and boxes, with the application of labels in a single process.
Brendon Bass, sales and marketing manager at AM Labels, said, “Our 2025 PPMA stand is going to be jam-packed with a variety of labelling solutions for all types and sizes of businesses. We’re looking forward to meeting with current and prospective customers and advising on how we can support their businesses.
