ORGANISERS of PPMA Total Show, which returns to the NEC, Birmingham in September, have announced Reggae Reggae Sauce entrepreneur and TV personality Levi Roots as the final keynote speaker for the event.

Automate UK revealed visitors will have the opportunity to hear from the musician-turned-entrepreneur when he delivers his speech, Roots To Success, on the third and final day of the show, which is dedicated to processing and packaging machinery, robotics, and industrial vision.

Levi’s speech will explore his journey from humble beginnings in Jamaica to building his successful culinary business, with an emphasis on how passion, perseverance and creativity can overcome the toughest challenges.

Scott McKenna, chief operating officer for Automate UK, said, “We are extremely proud of the line up of keynote speakers we have secured to appear at the PPMA Total Show 2025, and we can’t think of anyone more perfect for the closing day of the event.

“Known as much for his music and television appearances as he is for his business acumen, Levi needs no introduction. A MOBO award-nominated musician, he became a household name within the business world in 2007 having successfully pitched his Reggae Reggae Sauce to the BBC Dragons Den panel, securing a £50,000 investment to launch the product.

“His charismatic pitch won over both the investors and viewers and saw his brand become a hit within the mainstream market, and visitors will be fortunate to experience that charisma first-hand at the show.

“Levi’s speech will centre around his creative and passionate approach to business, offering attendees insight into staying true their entrepreneurial vision and turning adversity into opportunity. It promises to be a very energising presentation, and we have no doubt those joining him will leave the show inspired and full of ideas.”

More than 350 exhibitors and 1,500 brands are expected to attend PPMA Total Show from September 23-25. To register, visit: https://www.ppmashow.co.uk.
