DANTEX will launch what it is calling its ‘most advanced flexographic plate processing solution to date’ at Labelexpo Europe 2025.
The Aqua X is said to bring new levels of speed, efficiency and sustainability to water-wash plate technology. The solution represents the next generation of Dantex’s Aquaflex processing range. Designed to work with the company’s Aquaflex plate technology, the system is a fully automatic water-wash solution.
Features include a Dantex Easy Access System, cloud-based online connectivity, integrated black mask removal, and ‘extremely low’ water and energy consumption. With a fully adjustable throughput speed, Dantex explained that the Aqua X delivers consistent plate processing with ‘outstanding’ print quality, including fine halftone resolution from 1% to 99% up to 200 lpi.
Dantex will also showcase its newly relaunched PicoColour digital press, described as ‘compact, versatile and affordable’. Also on show will be the PicoJet DRS, with live demonstrations highlighting ‘speed, precision, and reliability’ in digital UV inkjet printing.
Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, said, “The launch of the Aqua X marks a major step forward in sustainable flexographic plate processing, bringing real benefits to productivity, reliability and print quality. Together with the PicoColour, we are offering customers both groundbreaking pre-press and digital press technologies that meet today’s demands for efficiency, performance and cost-effectiveness.”
