CV Labels has invested in its ninth AB Graphic International (ABG) machine, marking a significant milestone in the long-term relationship between the two companies.
The relationship between Bridlington-headquartered ABG and Irvine-based CV Labels dates back to 1989, when ABG supplied CV Labels with the firm’s very first press.
The latest investments include two Slitter Rewinders with fleyeVision camera inspection and Rea Jet Inkjet print systems. The first of these was installed three years ago, with the most recent commissioned in July 2025.
The systems are intended to support CV Labels’ commitment to high-quality output and operational efficiency, particularly within the pharmaceutical labelling sector.
The latest investment also marks a moment of transition within the company. Founder Robert Veitch is handing over the reins to his daughter Susan and son Ross.
Susan Veitch said, “We’ve always trusted ABG to provide the kind of robust, efficient, and future-ready machinery that meets the demands of our business. Their support over the decades has been invaluable, and we’re excited to continue this partnership as we step into a new era.”
ABG sales manager Mark Hyde added, “CV Labels have been with us since the early days, and it’s been incredible to watch their journey. Seeing a second generation take the helm while continuing to invest in ABG technology speaks volumes about their vision and values.”
