ARDAGH Glass Packaging-Europe has unveiled a 300g lightweight glass wine bottle.
As the wine industry faces increasing pressure to reduce its environmental impact, the firm explained that the new bottle delivers on material reduction, structural performance, and brand presentation. The 300g 75cl bottle is said to be engineered to perform on high-speed filling lines, withstand supply chain handling, and maintain the visual appeal expected of glass packaging.
“This is more than a lightweight bottle, it’s a complete packaging solution,” said Nick Witton, sales director at Ardagh Glass Packaging-UK. “We’ve developed a 300g bottle that also delivers the strength and premium look that brands and consumers demand.”
