CARTON manufacturer and label printing technology specialist Edale has announced that Steve Lister, a global sustainability strategist, will join the speaker line-up at its Rethinking Carton Production event on Tuesday June 24 in Fareham, Hampshire.

Steve will bring his experience in packaging, retail, and brand sustainability to the event, offering attendees an ‘inspiring and practical’ look at how the drive for environmental responsibility is shaping the future of retail and carton production.

James Boughton, MD at Edale, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Steve to our speaker programme. Sustainability is at the heart of every conversation in our industry, and Steve’s ability to translate big-picture environmental thinking into clear, actionable insight will bring real value to attendees.”

The event is designed for packaging professionals and converters and commercial printers looking to diversify. In addition to Steve Lister’s talk, which will touch on the current trends in retail, attendees will hear from Jo Stephenson, MD of Think B2B Marketing and co-founder of Women in Packaging UK and will experience a live demonstration of Edale’s FL5 single-pass carton production line.

Attendees will also participate in an open roundtable discussion, exploring the operational, commercial and environmental factors reshaping the carton landscape.
