MONDI has announced an expansion of its re/cycle MailerBAG production capacity to serve the growing need for sustainable e-commerce packaging solutions.
A newly installed production line at Mondi’s Krapkowice plant in Poland increases the output of MailerBAGs, meeting the range of sizes and protection requirements demanded by e-commerce customers. The investment follows the previous expansion of the production line at Krapkowice, which was announced last year.
Alongside Mondi’s range of paper-based e-commerce products, which include corrugated and fill form seal solutions, the MailerBAG portfolio now features four distinct formats:
- Bottom Gusset Bag: flexible and adaptable for different product shapes
- Side Gusset Bag: perfect for small to medium-sized goods
- Block Bottom Bag: designed for large and bulky items
- Protective Mailer: ensures protection for products with cushioning
Described as recyclable in conventional paper waste streams across Europe, MailerBAGs provide a packaging solution that aims to reduce waste and support Mondi’s MAP2030 sustainability commitments.
