DENMARK-based food packaging manufacturer Faerch A/S has appointed Pernille Lind Olsen as its new CEO, effective from July this year.
She joins from Henkel, where she served as president of Henkel North America and corporate senior VP for Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ global packaging & consumer goods business.
With a career spanning roles in Denmark, Singapore, Germany and the US, Pernille brings international business leadership experience. Her career began at Novozymes, followed by positions at Hempel, before joining Henkel in 2022. She is also a non-executive board member at Aarsleff, a Danish contracting company.
Pernille Lind Olsen said, “I am very excited to join Faerch and to lead such a forward-thinking and innovative team and company. I firmly believe that sustainability is not only the right thing to do but also the path to profitable growth, and it is inspiring to see Faerch’s strides in combining the two. I look forward to working with the skilled Faerch team to continue our journey towards circularity and pioneer new solutions that benefit both our business and the environment.”
Pernille is in the process of relocating to Denmark to work from Faerch’s Holstebro HQ.
Henrik Poulsen, chairman of Faerch, added, “We are excited to welcome Pernille to Faerch. Her extensive experience, leadership skills, and customer focus will be instrumental in continuing to develop our company along the path of circularity and industry leadership. We are confident that Pernille, together with the management team, will be able to drive Faerch’s long-term profitable growth.”
