ORGANISER Easyfairs UK has made more than 18 hours of educational video content recorded at Packaging Innovations & Empack earlier this year, available to watch on demand.
A record 7,424 unique visitors were welcomed by more than 450 exhibitors at the Birmingham event in February, which featured three dedicated stages – Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Circular Economy, and Innovation & Design.
The conference programme included the launch of the PackUK initiative and an array of sessions and panels on topics that spanned the entire packaging value chain. Speakers included government officials from DEFRA, design specialists such as Google’s Miguel Arevalo, technology pioneers Jenny Stanley and Stefan Casey, and industry experts Jude Allan, Emma Verkaik, and Paul Vanston.
To extend the reach of this content and further the wider packaging industry’s knowledge, Easyfairs UK has made 30 videos available to watch free of charge via its website.
“We have an important role to play in the packaging value chain and by sharing the sessions and panels experienced live at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025, we are making sure all stakeholders have access to the most important information that matters to them and their businesses,” said James Montero MacColl, senior marketing manager at Easyfairs UK.
“The future of packaging is shaping up to be extremely challenging, with the potential for complexity to swamp even the most prepared of companies. However, any of the 7,000-plus people who were there can testify that there are experts on hand to guide and advise, unpick the challenges, and unlock the industry’ full potential. Many of them spoke on one of the three stages, meaning all in attendance left the NEC with a better understanding of what is to come and clearer vision for the future.
“By making the conference agenda available to watch on demand, everyone and anyone in the supply chain now has the same opportunity.”
Casey McHugh, conference & community manager – UK & global at Easyfairs, added, “A packed agenda of high profile speakers grabbed the attention of attendees and made sure Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025 delivered on its promise to unite the industry under one roof and bring packaging’s future to life. I am delighted this is now an opportunity available to all.”
