DANTEX Group has announced the relaunch of its PicoColour compact press.
Building on the 10-year legacy of the original PicoColour, this latest evolution is said to retain the same footprint as its predecessor but is now equipped with today’s ‘advanced’ technology.
PicoColour offers a fully functional printing press with features from the flagship PicoJet, including an expanded colour gamut, superwhite, supertext and supertact. With the optional inline compact finishing, Dantex said customers can anticipate an ‘exceptional’ printing experience.
Built in the UK to Zone 1 manufacturing standards, including to CE and UL, the new model achieves print speeds of 50 metres per minute.
Dantex added that it carefully considered customer feedback, refining the design of PicoColour to print 254mm wide. It now has a fully integrated finishing system that includes shuttle-based die-cutting, lamination, matrix removal, and edge trimming.
Pre-sales have already started and the first deliveries are expected in Q4 this year.
Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group, said, “The original PicoColour was a huge success, and we have seen continued demand, even in the second-hand market. We knew the time was right to bring it back, but this time it’s even better – modernised, efficient, built with the latest technology, and entirely made in the UK. Customers can feel reassured that Dantex’s quality standards and service are never compromised.
“The response thus far has been remarkable, demonstrating that customers have been eager for a high-performance, entry-level UV inkjet press. With the new PicoColour, we are providing exactly that.”
