SIG Group earns global sustainability recognition

SIG S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook

SIG Group has announced it has secured a place in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

The recognition underscores SIG’s commitment to sustainability across its supply chain as well as transparent communication of its progress.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook recognises top-performing companies in sustainability practices across a range of industry-specific economic, environmental, and social criteria. To be included, companies must rank in the top 15% of their industry in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

“Being recognised once again in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices,” said Stefan Dobrev, VP of corporate development & sustainability at SIG. “This external validation reinforces our dedication to transparent progress and continuous improvement across our supply chain.

“Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, guiding us as we develop regenerative solutions to create lasting change. Sustainable innovation and a responsible culture are central to this.”

SIG’s sustainability strategy revolves around its journey to create ‘packaging for better’ – a commitment to creating regenerative packaging solutions. The company holds an AAA ESG rating from MSCI, a 10.5 (low risk) score from Sustainalytics, a Platinum CSR rating from EcoVadis, was included in two Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), and is featured in the FTSE4Good Index.
