FILMS distribution business, Plasfilms, part of the Plastribution Group, has reported a growing number of customers adopting its digital self-service platform, Plastribution+.
Launched in April last year, the platform is designed to enhance the customer experience by providing 24/7 access to manage account information, sales orders, and invoices.
It also offers real-time communication through live chat, enabling users to place orders and request documents, such as certificates of analysis, shipping documents, and safety data sheets (MSDS/TDS).
“Plastribution+ has completely transformed the way we manage our orders and inventory,” said Lee Ralph, commercial and supply chain manager at Eco Flexibles. “The ability to view sales orders, invoices and stock lists all in one place saves us so much time and effort. The customer stock list feature ensures we always have visibility on our materials, and the free stock list makes requesting quotes and calling off stock seamless. It’s an incredibly user-friendly platform that has improved our efficiency and communication.”
Rachel Pickwell, internal sales manager at Plasfilms, added, “Since the launch of Plastribution+, we’ve seen a significant increase in customer engagement. Customers like Eco Flexibles appreciate the flexibility and convenience of being able to manage their accounts, place orders and access essential documents at any time. The platform allows us to deliver an even higher level of service and responsiveness to their needs.”
Plasfilms is a distributor of films and supply chain services for businesses across the UK packaging and labelling industry. The company’s portfolio includes BOPP, PET, CPP, heat shrink films, rigid films, PVC and SANZIP re-closable zippers.
