METTLER-Toledo Product Inspection has had its checkweighing and metal detection technologies featured on the BBC television series Inside the Factory.
The programme, which aired in the UK last month, showcased a major snack production facility where Mettler-Toledo checkweighers and metal detection solutions help maintain product quality.
The Inside the Factory episode focused on the intricate production process behind a popular savoury snack product. As part of the programme, viewers were given a behind-the-scenes look at the high-speed manufacturing lines, including the precision engineering of Mettler-Toledo product inspection equipment.
The checkweighers seen on the show are said to provide ‘highly accurate’ weight control and real-time data analysis. With customisable settings and flexible integration options, the checkweighers are designed to enhance efficiency and help combat rising costs ad.
In addition to checkweighing technology, the manufacturing site also employs metal detection solutions, which offer advanced detection capabilities to identify metal contaminants at ‘very high’ production speeds, the firm added.
