Fanta looks to build on popularity in UK with three new flavours

THREE new fruity flavours of Fanta Zero Sugar are to launch in the UK, including a limited-edition tutti frutti variant in a ‘sleek’ can designed to transport shoppers back to their teenage days.

Raspberry and apple flavours will also launch, with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) looking to build on Fanta’s popularity in the UK. The brand accounts for nearly one in every five flavoured carbonates sold in Britain.

The new flavours will launch on February 24 in 330ml cans and 500ml rPET bottles for shoppers to enjoy on-the-go, as well as larger 2L rPET bottles and multipacks being available for sharing occasions at home.

The limited-edition tutti frutti flavour will feature a ‘colourful and impactful’ design aimed at transporting consumers back to their teenage years with a ‘vibrant’ mix of peach, pineapple, and banana flavours.

Rob Yeomans, VP of commercial development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB, said, “We’re excited to be expanding our core Fanta zero sugar range with the introduction of tangy Fanta Zero Apple and sweet Fanta Zero Raspberry which will cater to consumers’ growing appetite for apple and raspberry flavours.

“Our limited-edition Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar is like a carnival in a can, boasting a vibrant design that catches the eye and offering a nostalgic flavour. Limited editions are a great way to engage new shoppers, getting people excited and talking about the Fanta brand, while helping our customers drive sales.”
