HOLMACH, a provider of technology solutions for food, personal care, homecare, OTC pharmaceutical, and industrial manufacturers, has announced its exclusive UK and Eire partnership with Barcelona-based Posimat, a specialist in unscrambling technology.
Holmach revealed its packaging experts are now collaborating with Posimat’s team to provide innovative unscrambling solutions for empty plastic bottles, pots and tubs, suitable for products including beverages, motor oils, cleaning sprays and face creams.
Aligning with Holmach’s filling solutions, Posimat’s unscramblers are said to help in streamlining the filling process by organising and orienting containers, ensuring a ‘smooth and uninterrupted’ flow through the production line.
The POSIFLEX system is designed to enable format changes in less than one minute and the flexibility to add future formats by entering the parameters of the new bottle through the HMI. Meanwhile, the compact design of the COMPACTBOT optimises floor space and reduces installation costs, and the POSIBOT is said to offer ‘one of the highest performances’ in container unscrambling.
Holmach and Posimat are also introducing a range of rinsing and conveying solutions, which utilise precise air flow control to gently transport delicate containers at high speeds, with rinsers employing air-blowing and vacuum technologies to remove contaminants in plastic bottles.
Chris Holland, MD of Holmach Ltd, said, “We are excited to partner with Posimat. UK and Eire manufacturers are proactively looking for ways to reduce packaging waste and optimise production processes and our partnership with Posimat allows Holmach to play an even greater part in the overall solution.”
Elisabet Marti, chief commercial officer from Posimat, added, “Holmach’s extensive experience in optimising production lines paired with their commitment to sustainability, make them the natural choice to introduce our innovative packaging solutions to the UK and Eire market. We look forward to working closely with the Holmach team to enable manufacturers to streamline their production and reduce packaging waste.”
