DENNY Bros Ltd has announced the opening of a new inspection room to further enhance product standards.

The packaging and labelling specialist revealed it has made a six-figure investment to its head office in Bury St Edmunds with inspection machinery, once sited on the main factory floor, moved to a dedicated space to improve workflow.

Operations director Karl Seeley and group quality manager Nick Theobald said the company was delighted with the end result. Nick commented, “The quality control inspection room is something we have wanted for quite a while. The room now offers a more controlled and dedicated area for final inspection of products and a better circular workflow around the relevant machines.”

The investment also includes new flooring, lighting and air conditioning in the inspection room.

Nick added, “We saw the benefits of the inspection room from the moment it was up and running. It’s great to have a dedicated space and the improvements will support both our staff and our customers alike. This move is part of a continuing process of improvement that Denny Bros is always looking at.”
