VISITOR registration has opened for the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRS Europe).
The exhibition and conference, which is dedicated to plastics recycling, returns to the RAI Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 1-2 April 2025. For the first time, the event will take place in the RAI’s premier Halls 1 and 5.
“PRS Europe is now firmly established as a destination event for the plastics industry from across Europe and beyond,” said Matt Barber, global events director at Crain Communications. “Many of our long-standing exhibitors have taken bigger stands for 2025, while new exhibitors have pushed up the demand for floor space, driving the move to larger halls. We are also expecting visitor numbers to be even higher than 2024’s record attendance of over 11,000.”
Ton Emans, Plastics Recyclers Europe president, added, “PRS Europe has become the place to be for the entire plastic value chain. It is the place in Europe where you can get to know the latest advancements of recycling technologies, find inspiration from leading innovators and seek out partners with the expertise to make plastic circular.”
Conference sessions held across two theatres will cover the latest political, legislative, market and technological developments in plastics recycling. The programme includes sessions on overcoming the challenges in EU plastic recycling, unlocking key legislative files for the sector such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and building synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling. Also covered will be the market outlook as well as future challenges and trends in achieving recycled content goals.
Panel discussions will examine the global roadmap for plastics recycling, strategies to scale up collection and sorting, traceability in recycled content, and the latest innovations in recycling technologies. Dedicated materials focus sessions will tackle the state-of-play in the recycling of PET, polyolefin films, PVC, HDPE, PP and ELV & WEEE.
The winners of all seven award categories at the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 will be announced at the event on 2 April, and all finalists will be showcased in the exhibition.
Following the launch in 2024, the PRS Europe Boat Party will return for 2025, taking place on the first evening, 1 April.
