EASYFAIRS UK has started the search for the Innovation Gallery Class of 2025, which will be featured at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025.
Set to take place on 12 & 13 February at the NEC in Birmingham, the exhibition will feature over 430 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 7,000 visitors.
Attendees will be able to explore the Innovation Gallery, where 10 innovative packaging projects from the past year will be displayed. Visitors can vote for their favourite by swiping their visitor passes at the dedicated plinth.
The selection process will be overseen by Paul Jenkins (founder of ThePackHub), Jude Allan (interim MD of OPRL), and Margaret Bates (Defra’s head of EPR scheme administrator).
“The packaging industry is constantly evolving, driven by ever-changing consumer demands and sustainability challenges,” said Jenkins. “As a bellwether for innovation, the final ten projects in the Innovation Gallery often reflect the collective ingenuity of over 430 exhibitors, showcasing where the sector is headed in the coming year.
“These finalists exemplify our remarkable resilience and creativity, demonstrating how quickly we can pivot to meet emerging demands. The relentless pace of change drives us to continuously push boundaries, making these ten projects a vital glimpse into the future of packaging innovation, where sustainability and excellence will lead the way.”
