DS Smith has been honoured with an award at the Nestlé Supplier Awards 2024.
The packaging firm was nominated in several categories and picked up the Simplex Innovators Award in recognition of its solutions in support of Nestlé’s objectives ranging from innovative approaches to cost reduction and optimisation of supply chain efficiency.
The award takes into account performance across key areas such as innovation, sustainability and dedication beyond the call of duty and the exceptional contribution of DS Smith teams working within SMI, packaging and display.
Two individual employees from DS Smith received accolades for their efforts in enhancing the collaboration between DS Smith and Nestlé – client director Gill Stapleton and key account director Michael Rutherford.

The award of Individual Supplier is reflective of the excellence and dedication we deliver day in and day out for Nestle for the last four years.”
