DONALD McLaren, MD of McLaren Packaging, has been named EY Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year, transformational leader.
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is a unique global programme that recognises entrepreneurial achievement among individuals and companies that demonstrate vision, leadership and success — and work to improve the quality of life in their communities, countries and around the world.
Judges named Mr McLaren as a winner on account of his achievements in developing and transforming the fortunes of the business over a number of years.
Commenting on the accolade he said, “I am both delighted and humbled to be recognised with such a prestigious award. My efforts have been supported by the talented and passionate team of over 300 across McLaren Packaging. This is very proud moment for me and the team.”
