PACKAGING manufacturer Korozo Group has joined forces with Daniel Strickland to support growth of the business in North America.
Dan brings a quarter of a century of experience to the firm, with knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging and trays. He spent almost two decades at Linpac Packaging, followed by six years with Klöckner Pentaplast. During his career Dan has built and managed teams in Europe, North America, South Africa and Australia. A brief tenure with Veritiv Corporation preceded him joining Korozo Group.
Dan was born and raised in the UK, before spending 20 years living in France and then relocating to the USA in 2017. Continuing to be based out of the US, Dan will work with Kemal Yürüm, sales manager at Korozo for the Americas, and support Husa, Inc., the group’s current importer and distributor in the region.
He said, “I am looking forward to working alongside Kemal to ramp up our sales presence in North America. With the USA known as ‘the Land of Opportunity’, I have no doubt that Korozo will continue to make big waves in the ginormous market for flexible packaging, which is growing year-on-year.”
Korozo Group CEO Adam Barnett added, “Kemal has done a tremendous job for the group in North America. As we look to build our sales in the region, Dan will be critical in implementing my vision to create a North American entity turning over c$50m. Both Dan and Kemal will work together to support Husa, Inc. and build on our sales platform.”
Korozo Group is a provider of flexible packaging and film products. It operates a network of production, sales, and distribution facilities across Europe, as well as serving more than 75 countries worldwide.
James Diprose has already joined the group as sales director responsible for the UK & Ireland, Benelux and Scandinavia, with Alexander Hauberg recruited to strengthen activities in the DACH region.
