A new flavour of Monster Ultra has launched in a strawberry-inspired creamy pink can design.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) announced the new strawberry flavoured variant to the popular zero sugar energy drink range. Available in 500ml plain or price-marked single cans, the pack design is hoped to deliver maximum impact on shelf to drive sales.
The launch comes following a Monster customer survey which found that 55% of respondents wanted to see a strawberry flavour of the drink.
Helen Kerr, associate director of portfolio development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said, “Energy drinks are adding more value to the soft drinks category than any other segment. And much of this is down to diversification and innovation, led by Monster, which contributed more than half of NPD value sales over the last year. It’s a massive opportunity for retailers and there’s still room for significant growth.
“We’re confident that Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams will build on this success. This new launch will tap into demand for the strawberry flavour and zero sugar energy drinks with the renowned Monster energy kick, so we’d recommend that retailers get stocked up.”
