CARTOR Security Printers has announced that Liam Knott, a third-year service engineer apprentice at the firm, has won the Service Engineer Apprentice of the Year accolade at the City of Wolverhampton College Apprenticeship Awards 2024.

The firm said Liam’s apprenticeship journey has been marked by significant personal and technical growth. His ‘responsible approach, consistent outstanding performance, and dedication to learning’ have made him stand out.

Both his peers and supervisors have acknowledged Liam’s proactive approach and focus on delivering excellent customer service. Cartor added that his ‘inquisitive nature and positive attitude’ have made him an ‘exceptional’ apprentice.

“It’s been a pleasure to see Liam grow personally and professionally over the past three years, winning this award is a great reflection of the commitment and effort Liam has demonstrated throughout his training and serves as an example to future apprentices,” said Andrew Brigham, Cartor’s MD.
