AM Labels will demonstrate new additions to its portfolio at PPMA Show 2024, including the Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer and Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press.
The stand will also feature automation equipment, as well as a linerless solution from Arca, for companies looking to reduce label waste.
The PPMA Show takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from September 24-26. Visitors to AM Labels’ stand will have the opportunity to experience the new Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer. The model boasts print speeds of up to 300mm per second, at a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, and is compatible with a variety of materials including matte and gloss paper, and synthetic label materials. The printer is designed to meet high-volume label production needs of businesses in a range of industries.
Working demonstrations will be offered on the Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press. The X350 boasts a roll width of 350mm and utilises ‘durable’ pigment inks that are described as cost-effective thanks to their two litre capacity. AM Labels said the cloud-based RIP software offers greater control over colour matching and means it is ‘ideal’ for complex label designs. The label press has a print speed of 18 inches per second.
AM Labels will also be showcasing its selection of LabelPack applicators, including the fully automatic Label X JR applicator and the Panda print and apply system. The company will also showcase a linerless print and apply solution from Arca. The system is said to produce zero waste with no silicone liner support to be disposed of.
