Kwikpac, the Kirkcaldy-based specialist in end-of-line strapping, stretch film and packaging solutions, has announced completion of a ‘cutting-edge’ pallet wrapping system installation for AG Paving and Building Products.
AG is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of walling, paving, and facing bricks. The machinery installation project is designed to help the firm’s efforts to enhance sustainability by reducing plastic waste and improving efficiency.
By modernising the automated stretch wrapping process and working closely with their team to understand the business needs, Kwikpac revealed it provided a more efficient process by optimising load stability, stretch capacity and providing ‘consistency for maximum uptime’.
AG is predicted to decrease plastic consumption by over 78.3% using Kwikpac’s automatic pallet wrapping system and KwikFilm stretch film.
