FLINT Group, a specialist in ink and coating solutions for the print and packaging sectors, has announced it has successfully relocated its newspaper ink production facility and service centre to Frankfurt, Germany, to enhance service to European customers.
The new hub, chosen for its ‘excellent’ transport links, is said to boast ‘state-of-the-art’ manufacturing equipment to increase the company’s production capabilities for the news printing sector. The company’s Frankfurt-based technology team will oversee ongoing innovation for its coldset inks designed for newspaper printing.
The move is part of a broader €1.5 million investment in Flint Group’s capacity that has seen it ‘optimise’ its production processes and strengthen its technical service team.
Heiner Klokkers, CEO of Flint Group Publications, said, “The transfer of our newspaper printing production to Frankfurt demonstrates our clear commitment to meeting the needs of this sector. At Flint Group, we’re proud to offer the most comprehensive portfolio of newsprint products, supplying premier global brands with the broadest and most advanced range of inks. Importantly, our products are tailored to help our customers optimise their productivity and sustainability.
“With a highly skilled team overseeing world-class production equipment and expert service technicians, we can efficiently address customer concerns and optimise their production processes.
