PACKAGING components specialist Item Products has promoted sales executive Charlene Hurst to the newly established position of key account manager.
The move is said to reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing customer relations and adapting to the ‘dynamic’ demands of the packaging industry.
In her new role, Charlene will focus on collaborating with key accounts to understand their needs and objectives. She will also be instrumental in introducing customers to new product innovations and solutions that offer ‘enhanced functionality, cost efficiency and sustainable benefits’.
Charlene succeeds David Holt, Item’s former co-owner and sales director. “David has done a brilliant job, and I am excited to continue this legacy and further develop our customer relationships,” said Charlene. “I look forward to working closely with our internal teams to tailor our offerings to meet customers’ specific challenges and contribute to the growth of their businesses as well as ours.”
Commenting on the promotion, Item Product’s co-owner, Jack Cook, added, “Charlene’s promotion is not just a testament to her hard work and dedication, but also to our strategic focus on customer satisfaction and proactive engagement. We are confident that her leadership in this role will bring about innovative solutions and stronger partnerships with our key accounts.”
