REUSABLE plastic packaging and performance pooling specialist Tosca has welcomed Laurent Le Mercier as EMEA president.
Most recently, he served as CEO of French transport and logistics company Jacky Perrenot. Previously, he held executive roles as chief commercial officer at Carousel Logistics and chief operations officer at Transporeon Group, a cloud-based transport and logistics platform.
From 2005-2017, Laurent held various positions at pallet provider CHEP, including CEO for multiple divisions throughout his time there.
“This is a really exciting moment in time joining Tosca to support the ambition in becoming the best and largest recycled plastic packaging provider capable of delivering a full range of sustainable packaging solutions to industry manufacturers, FMCGs, growers as well as retailers,” Laurent Le Mercier said.
Eric Frank, Tosca CEO, added, “Laurent’s deep history in the reusables industry and working with retailers and FMGC providers will allow him to hit the ground running, while his experience from other facets of the supply chain and business functions give him a unique perspective on how to continue enhancing Tosca for our customers.”
