SABERT will be unveiling the firm’s soon-to-be-launched Hot2Go and Tray2Go ranges at next week’s Packaging Innovations show at The NEC Birmingham.
The Hot2Go range is described as being made using a ‘strong, durable’ multi-layer micro-fluted board that promotes heated food packaging integrity and is free from internal plastic lamination.
Leak and grease-resistant, Sabert added that the range is fully recyclable and customisable for bespoke print and sizing. Windowed options are said to offer great visibility thanks to its clear rPET film. Stackable and nestable, the base is made from FSC-certified recyclable kraft paperboard, while the recyclable rPET window film has a guaranteed minimum 30% recycled content.
Sabert’s Tray2Go solution, meanwhile, is marketed as a fully recyclable multi-functional packaging option for the likes of sushi, other chilled food-to-go, confectionery and bakery products.
The Tray2Go range features a ‘robust and durable’ double-wall tray design, coupled with a secure fitting click-lock lid. The board bases, manufactured in the UK, are made with FSC-certified material, while the lids are made from rPET at Sabert’s facility in Belgium, and comprise a minimum of 50% recycled material.
Also on display will be the established Snap2Go and Deli2Go ranges.
Alex Noake, Sabert UK&I MD, said, “For each of these food-to-go, takeaway and delivery packaging innovations, our focus is on making food look great, but as usual, we are also putting the emphasis on offering best value, coupled with best functionality, and best-in-class sustainability credentials.
