PALLET wrapping automation specialist Atlanta will be showcasing two of its latest machines at LogiMAT, the trade show for intralogistics solutions and process management, which takes place from March 19-21 at Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre.
The NEOS mobile robot pallet wrapper, featuring laser safety detection and blue spot projection, is tipped to ‘revolutionise’ warehouse operations. NEOS stands out for its integration of the ARYA system, a patented technology that automates the entire wrapping process, eliminating manual intervention to attach the film to the pallet. This is said to both enhance operational efficiency and ensure consistency and safety.
NEOS is described as being designed with a ‘sleek, modern aesthetic’, embodying a new era of design in warehouse automation. Features include a dual-motor PS pre-stretching carriage that Atlanta revealed ‘minimises film consumption while maximising functional reliability’.
Also on display at the exhibition will be the NOVA compact ring pallet wrapper, operating with a small platform AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) transporting an order picked demo pallet.
The ‘close fitting’ guarding is said to not only emphasise a ‘minimal’ factory footprint but also removes the need for drop off and pick-ups with the more traditional conveyorised alternatives.
