PRINTED packaging manufacturer FACER has teamed up with PerfectTed following its success in securing investment on Dragons’ Den.
The Leeds-based firm provided the packaging solution for the advocates of long-lasting energy, through their Matcha products.
FACER supported the start-up with two packaging solutions. The first was a gable-topped envelope-based carton pack to house seven sachets of PerfectTed’s single serve Matcha, described as an ‘ideal option’ for those wanting to travel with their favourite energy enhancing drink.
This was followed by the addition of a shelf-ready packaging solution which houses 12 packs.
FACER MD Luke Wilson said, “I have been obsessed with Dragons’ Den and what it represents since it first aired in 2005 and can categorically state that it was a major contributor to fuelling the fire in my business belly in my early 20s. After seeing PerfectTed smash their Dragons’ Den pitch out of the ball park and secure investment from Steven Bartlett and Peter Jones, this is a client win we are very proud of.
“We are big fans of the brand, the founders and the team and glad we could support them with a new product launch that required creative structural engineering through to manufacture of two complimenting packaging formats. Good thing we had some clean Matcha energy to keep us going!”
