THE Label Makers has worked with Cardiff-based Hensol Castle Distillery to produce labels for four flagship spirits.
Located within the cellars of the Grade 1 listed Hensol Castle, the family-owned enterprise operates a distillery, contract bottling plant, gin school and visitor attraction.
The labels utilised a combination of substrates including an FSC-certified luxury paper, with the addition of two hot foils. Produced by ‘advanced’ printing techniques comprising full-colour digital print, hot foil, UV varnishes and screen embossing, The Label Makers said the process has ensured each label fully enhances the bottle’s appeal.
James Lewis, head of operations at Hensol Castle Distillery, said, “The Label Makers’ labels have made a great bottle look absolutely fantastic, helping the product stand out in a competitive market. They have an incredible ability to bring our design aspirations to life.”
Dan Wilson, business development manager at The Label Makers, added, “We worked closely with the distiller and designer to extract as much as possible from the design detail, utilising intricate lines, foils, emboss and colours to ensure the labels have great stand-out utilising a tactile paper stock. The result really makes the product.”
The Label Makers said it expects to be involved in the upcoming launch of new products from Hensol Castle Distillery, including Spiced Rum, Cherry Spiced Rum and Premium Vodka.
