Glasgow Warriors unveil new kits made from recycled plastic

GLASGOW Warriors has unveiled new home and alternate kits for the 2023/24 season made from recycled plastic.

Created by Macron, the new kits come in Eco Fabric which is a 100% polyester fabric created from recycled plastic. Eco-Boditex and Eco-Strong Mesh inserts, made from the same recycled material, also feature to allow for ‘maximum’ strength along with lightness and ‘perfect’ breathability.

The new home shirt retains the club’s traditional colour of black, with the Glasgow Warriors tartan adorning both the sleeves and side panels of the shorts, whilst a light blue trim also features alongside black shorts and black socks with a light blue and grey band.

A striking new light blue away kit features the names of all 124 clubs that call Glasgow, the west of Scotland, and Caledonia regions home, with white and red detailing completing the look of the shirt.

Supporters will be able to buy the new kits at the Scottish Rugby Store on Glasgow’s Queen Street or online, with the new home kit to be worn for the first time at The Famous Grouse pre-season friendly against Zebre Parma on September 30.
