SOURCEFUL, a sourcing platform for packaging, has confirmed the launch of a new AI tool capable of generating pack design ideas with a few simple prompts.
‘Spring’ is a free-to-use tool available on Sourceful’s website and is designed to help businesses source ‘beautiful, sustainable’ packaging for their brand.
The tool is described as the first free-to-use generative AI tool to be launched by a company in the packaging category. It is intended to help anyone looking to buy packaging get ideas and inspiration quickly. The tool used word based prompts and some simple questions about brand colours and design style.
Wing Chan, co-founder of Sourceful, said, “If you’re a small business or starting out in e-comms and you don’t know much about packaging, it can be difficult to know where to begin. With Spring, potential customers can start ideating and experimenting straight away on the Sourceful website without the need to engage designers or agencies.
