MACFARLANE Group PLC has announced the appointment of David Mansfield to its newly created leadership role of MD – Macfarlane Packaging Distribution.
The firm said that David, who is set to join later this month, will bring ‘broad’ protective packaging industry experience both from a manufacturer and distributor perspective.
He worked at Sealed Air for 19 years in a variety of sales and executive leadership roles and, most recently, has been part of the Bunzl UK Ltd senior team as its MD of lightning packaging supplies.
David will report directly to Macfarlane Group CEO, Peter Atkinson, and will have responsibility for the central sales, marketing, operations, and purchasing functions of Macfarlane Packaging.
