QR codes on Coca-Cola packaging are set to give consumers the chance to win the ‘hottest’ music festival tickets this summer.
The move comes as part of a new summer programme from Coca-Cola to harness the ‘remarkable power of music to unite’, with new tracks also set to be released from the Coke Studio.
As well as festival tickets, music merchandise and summer prizes will also be up for grabs from the QR codes on packs, which once scanned will take consumers to the Coca-Cola app.
Javier Meza, marketing senior VP at Coca-Cola in Europe, commented, “Music has an unparalleled ability to uplift and connect people and we know that our target audience is more engaged with music and digital audio than ever before. Music provides connection and encourages self-expression, for many it is the catalyst for memorable shared experiences.
“What makes Coke Studi so special, is how it offers such a variety of touch points and ways to engage on- and offline, coupled with real diversity of artists, and sounds that see the unique coming together and creation of the unexpected. All this is anchored in our ambition to deliver access to unforgettable music experiences for all.”
