COLPAC has announced it has successfully passed its latest BRCGS audit and achieved an AA rating for the seventh year in a row.
The packaging specialist revealed that the auditor commented on the condition of its UK factory as being excellent, amongst other praise of its working practices. Colpac achieved zero non-conformances across the two-day audit process.
Frances Dickman, compliance & QA manager, said, “This is a fantastic outcome, and down to the efforts of all team members across our sites. It is testament to our hard work and dedication to continually improve and manufacture and source products to global food safety standards.”
The BRCGS Standard for Packaging Materials provides a framework for all types of packaging manufacturer in the production of safe and legal packaging materials, and to manage product quality to meet customers’ requirements.
Colpac’s AA BRCGS accredited rating is said to demonstrate ‘continuous and sustained’ improvement. The audit covered its full product range, including those manufactured at Colpac’s factory, and those manufactured elsewhere.
