REUSABLE packaging and performance pooling solutions specialist Tosca has been awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal for its sustainability initiatives.
The award places Tosca in the top 1% of the 90,000 businesses rated by EcoVadis every year.
The firm said the milestone shows its ‘unwavering’ commitment to protecting the environment and also takes into account Tosca’s ethical and social responsibility performance.
The ranking is based on four key areas: Environment, Ethics, Human and Labour Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. Tosca revealed particular strides were made in the areas of Human and Labour Rights and Sustainable Procurement where scores of 80% were reached.
Karin Witton, director of sustainability, said, “It is a true honour to receive EcoVadis’ top rating of platinum and have our unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and ESG management independently recognised as something which is firmly embedded in our culture.”
