Film distributor joins Foodservice Packaging Association

FILMS distribution business Plasfilms has confirmed it has joined the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) by becoming a national distributor member.

The FPA membership is comprised of members who are involved with food and foodservice packaging at some point along the supply chain.

Matt Wood, Plasfilms’ product development manager, said, “With our target market being the food industry, we want to develop our knowledge and understanding of new market trends first-hand – the FPA provides us with the opportunity to achieve that. Plus, we are confident that we can create a wider awareness of the Plasfilms brand and our offering.

“In return, we can provide members with a deeper understanding of the film conversion market and, importantly, where we see consumer focus.”

Plasfilms is a distributors of films and supply chain services for businesses across the UK packaging and labelling industry. The company’s portfolio of packaging films includes BOPP, PET, CPP, heat shrink films, rigid films, PVC and SANZIP re-closable zippers.

The business operates as part of the Plastribution Group.
