Converting sector makes tracks for Munich ahead of ICE Europe 2023

AROUND 340 exhibitors from 21 countries are poised to showcase their latest innovations when ICE Europe kicks off at the Munich Trade Fair in Germany next week.

From March 14-16, industry professionals will gather for the 13th International Converting Exhibition. Visitors can also look forward to meeting the latest winners of the ICE Awards and enjoy access to the co-located CCE International and InPrint Munich conference.

ICE Europe 2023 will see major brands present the latest machinery, systems, accessories and services for the finishing and processing of flexible, web-based materials, such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens.

Advanced automation, improved connectivity and collaboration, optimised branding and customisation, and demand for sustainable production and consumption are some of the ongoing trends that organisers said attract high levels of innovation, interest, and investment.

The show covers converting applications in industries such as packaging, paper and print, medical and pharma, chemicals, plastics, textiles, automotive, aviation, engineering, food and beverages, electronics and consumer goods.

“ICE Europe is the only trade show format that presents converting topics in such a compact, focused way whilst catering for a wide scope of manufacturing industries,” said Patrick Herman, event director of the converting, paper and print events, on behalf of RX. “Visitors are able to dive right into the technical side of things. They will meet peers, technology providers and thought-leaders from across the industries to discuss and identify suitable solutions for their business.”

The winners of this year’s ICE Awards will be announced at a ceremony on the first show day at 3.30pm.
