PPMA Group of Associations has announced two new positions as the organisation appoints a CEO to its executive team and a new board director.
Peter Williamson, MD at RARUK Automation, will formally take up his position as CEO of PPMA in the New Year. Although continuing to be MD of RARUK Automation, and a director of PPMA, Peter will spend two days a week as CEO of PPMA, helping to shape the strategy behind operations in 2023.
Meanwhile, Rosie Davies, group director at RMGroup, will join the PPMA board of directors, bringing her knowledge and experience of systems integration and testing new ideas.
Both Peter and Rosie will be aided by chief operating officer David Harrison.
Peter Williamson said, “During my six years as a director for PPMA I have already had the opportunity to see the amazing work that they do. To be able to expand upon my role and become a conduit between the board and PPMA team is an exciting opportunity and one that I very much look forward to.
“I am grateful to RARUK Automation for making this possible by providing flexibility in my role to continue driving the business forward whilst taking on additional responsibility at the PPMA. I look forward to helping the PPMA and its members successfully meet their goals in the new year and beyond.”
Rosie Davies commented, “I am thrilled to be joining the PPMA board. As part of member company RMGroup, our business has grown with the show. The PPMA association has provided a platform on which we have built a great network of suppliers and partners. It will be an honour to support the promotion of PPMA and its plans to enhance member benefits furthermore.”
James Causebrook, chairman PPMA Group of Associations, commented, “The addition of Rosie to the board and Peter as CEO means the PPMA is in an incredibly fortunate situation to best drive strategic events and services at the same time. We wish them all the best in 2023.”
