ICE Europe set to highlight challenges and solutions for converting sector

ICE Europe will return in March 2023 to showcase the latest innovations within the converting industry.

Organisers of the Munich exhibition revealed the event will offer ‘contemporary expertise’ around matters including bespoke product and processing solutions as well as investment opportunities.

Topics such as efficiency, productivity, automation, digitalisation, and sustainability will come to the fore. Live demonstrations of new machines and systems will take place, while in-person discussions will focus on tackling the current challenges and finding common solutions.

“ICE Europe is definitely the place to be, as it’s the only key exhibition of its kind in the converting industry,” said Patrick Herman, event director of the converting, paper and print events, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. “There is no other event like it, that provides this level of high-quality networking opportunities.

“The show attracts specialists from a wide range of sectors ranging anywhere from packaging, printing, plastics all the way to engineering, medical and many more. Industry experts from around the globe travel to attend this industry hot spot to seize business opportunities and to evaluate their innovations in the presence of a specialised international audience.”

Described as the world’s leading exhibition for the conversion of flexible, web-based materials, such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens, ICE Europe remains a ‘well sought-after’ event.

“The outcome of the most recent shows in March 2022, including ICE Europe, were outstanding,” added Gerlinde Kasa, event manager of the converting, paper and print events, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. “It was a substantial trade fair, displaying a large variety of machines and innovations on roughly 13,000 square meters.

“Participants were very pleased with the quality of the show and with the type of attendees this trade fair attracted. This is pretty much the only trade fair that brings the industry and its key players together.”

The ICE Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements of businesses in the converting industry, will be making a comeback at the event. More details will be revealed in the run-up to the show.

ICE Europe will take place parallel to CCE International, an event for the corrugated and folding carton industry, and InPrint Munich, for printing professionals and manufacturers, on 14-16 March 2023.

Visitors can attend ICE Europe 2023 in halls A5 and A6, while CCE International, including InPrint Munich, will take place in hall B6 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany.
