Colpac packaging cones serve up a treat during Jubilee celebrations

FOOD packaging manufacturer Colpac has revealed details of its role in the recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the British Embassy in Berne, Switzerland.

500 guests, including trade envoys and senior people from the Embassy, enjoyed British inspired fare including traditional fish and chips served in Colpac’s cones.

The handheld cones featured a newspaper print. As well as depicting the UK, the packaging  met the Embassy’s sustainable ambitions as it was made from non-coated paperboard, with the cones being fully recyclable.

“At the British Embassy we were already working with Colpac’s export manager in Switzerland and were confident that their packaging solution would meet the desired look and feel of our Platinum Jubilee party,” said Claire Parsons, trade officer for the British Embassy in Switzerland. “Here at the Embassy, we try where possible to support clean growth and Colpac’s commitment to sustainability made them the supplier of choice.”
