ORGANISERS of PPMA Total Show 2022 have revealed the event will return to the NEC Birmingham from September 27-29 this year.
The three-day exhibition will feature live demonstrations of production machinery and has been tipped to act as a hub for networking, expert knowledge and information share.
PPMA Total Show will feature over 350 exhibitor stands and incorporate major exhibition brands Pakex and Interphex.
Visitors will see the latest products and innovations in technology, robotic and vision systems combined with materials, containers and packaging design. While a daily programme of educational and opinion-led presentations will be hosted at the seminar theatre.
Centred around the theme ‘The Future Of…’, PPMA organisers revealed the schedule of discussions, debate, presentations and workshops will be delivered by industry experts who will ‘share their knowledge, provide inspiration and offer their own insights’ into the future of the sector.
PPMA Total Show 2022 will also host the PPMA Group Awards, which celebrate the best in machinery innovation, smart manufacturing and business acumen. The awards will be presented during the final day of the show.
Ambassadors from PPMA Business Education Skills and Training (PPMA BEST) will also be on hand to engage with visitors and present the charity’s pathway for supporting young people keen to develop careers in engineering within the processing and packaging, robotics, and industrial vision industries.
Richard Little, PPMA Show director, said, “We know our visitor audience wants to get close to the latest technologies – to touch and try, to discover new production-enhancing solutions and to speak one-to-one with product and applications experts from all aspects of production – and this is exactly what PPMA Total delivers.
“We are immensely proud of PPMA Total Show’s long and successful history and the fact that this will be out 34th show clearly demonstrates we deliver a winning formula for both exhibitors and our visitor audience alike. This year’s event will be no exception, and I look forward to welcoming visitors when the show opens its doors again, walking the aisles, networking with peers and gaining inspiration from all the new technologies and live demonstrations on display.”
