COLPAC has announced the business has ensured it is a trusted manufacturer for food grade packaging by retaining its BRCGS AA certification for the sixth year in a row.
The business revealed it was praised by the auditor for ‘robust systems, a well-presented factory and the detail that was undertaken in relation to the latest standard changes’. Waste segregation was also highlighted as ‘excellent’ and a visible link to the zero to landfill policy.
Colpac achieved zero non-conformances across the two-day audit process. The BRCGS Standard for Packaging materials is a global benchmark of quality, safety, and legality for food packaging manufacture.
“We are delighted to report this result and the outcome is attributable to the hard work and efforts of all employees across the sites and recognition is most definitely due to everyone involved,” said Colpac’s compliance and QA manager Frances Dickman.
