A ‘game-changing’ mono-material flexible packaging solution is to be made available globally.
It comes following the successful launch of Liquipure in America last year, with the bag-in-box solution now being produced at Liquibox bag manufacturing sites in the EMA and APAC regions.
Liquibox said the solution is designed to meet recyclability guidelines, whilst also saving a ‘considerable’ amount of plastic from landfill.
The firm added that the recycle-ready, lamination-free bags also provide better drop and flex crack performance, as well as improved sealing.
Liquipure ultra was most recently recognised by the WorldStar Global Packaging Awards as a 2022 winner in both the beverages category as well as the packaging materials and components category.
It also won the Ameristar 2021 award in the category of non-alcoholic beverages and was displayed at the latest Pack EXPO Las Vegas Showcase of Innovations.
